We sometimes describe the Voyages of the Avanti as a cross between Anne Rice’s Sleeping Beauty and Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean (though we may have taken one link a bit further). Grappling further, the notion “erotic adventure” just doesn’t cut it and the use of ”pirates” puts some people off .
